Full DAW/plug-in control is provided via 9 faders, 8 rotarys, 8 backlit performance pads, a large number of dedicated/assignable buttons and transport controls, and an LCD panel to keep you informed of the current situation. Also, the Impulse 49 comes pre-loaded with a nice selection of unique programs and sounds.
