The DJI Mic, an easy-to-use, truly wireless digital microphone/recorder system that offers vivid audio quality while supplying all the elements needed to simultaneously capture two subjects to a DSLR/mirrorless cameras or iOS/Android smartphone, can help content creators of all skill levels improve the production values of their videos, interviews, and streaming. The device records clear and dependable audio at distances of up to 820′ using two compact clip-on omnidirectional mics/transmitters that also serve as backup recorders for worry-free wireless. The tiny receiver can be installed on a DSLR camera or a DJI Action 2 camera, or it can be put straight into a smartphone or laptop’s Lightning/USB port. When you use Fast Pairing, the transmitters and receivers instantly charge and pair as soon as they are placed in the charging station.

Wearable and Portable Microphones

You can also use the transmitter as a portable microphone by holding DJI Mic in your hand. Use the transmitter as a lavalier mic (no other mic required), or use it as a typical bodypack transmitter by plugging in an external lav mic (sold separately). The internal microphone has an omnidirectional pickup pattern that ensures consistent speech recording even when mic placement is less than optimal; your subject’s voice is captured with clarity, intelligibility, and consistency.

Built-In Recorders and Safety Track

Both transmitters offer onboard recording functionality and 8GB of storage space, allowing for up to 14 hours of backup recording. As a backup in case of wireless interference and dropouts, you can record audio directly to each transmitter. The transmitters of DJI Mic can also be used as independent recorders. The files are 48 kHz/24-bit mono WAV files that may be transferred to your computer via a USB Type-C connector.
