It is designed for streamers and content creators. With a cardioid condenser microphone and two unique earpad types to choose from, this headset provides the optimum studio-quality sound for you and your streaming audience. The Audio Technica ATH-M50xSTS USB StreamSet Streaming Headset is based on the critically acclaimed ATH-M50x. StreamSet has the same 45 mm large-aperture drivers as the Stream, but with two sets of replaceable earpads: M50x earpads that prioritize audio quality and sound isolation, and mesh and leatherette earpads that emphasize breathability and comfort. The cardioid condenser microphone on the StreamSet, adapted from the renowned 20 Series studio microphones, provides studio-quality articulation and intelligibility. The microphone’s design sets it at the end of a flexible boom arm, keeping the mic near to your lips and aiding in the rejection of background noise and the delivery of crystal-clear audio. Simply flipping the boom arm into the up position mutes the microphone fast and efficiently.
